Delete your account

You can permanently delete your Halver account and personal data at any time. There are two ways to do it.

Option 1 — In the app (fastest)

Open the Halver app and sign in.
Go to Profile → Manage account.
Tap Delete account and confirm.

Your account is deleted immediately. You can sign up again later with the same email.

Option 2 — By email

If you can't access the app, email hello@gohalver.com from the address on your account with the subject “Delete my account”. We will verify and complete the deletion within 30 days.

What gets deleted

Deleted permanently:

Your profile: name, email, profile photo, and area.
Your device push token and notification data.
Your in-app credit balances and personal settings.
Your active and draft item listings.

Anonymised (kept without identifying you):

Records of completed exchanges shown to the other party are kept but attributed to “Deleted user”, so their own history stays intact.
Aggregate, non-personal data that cannot identify you.

We may retain a minimal record where required by law or to prevent fraud and abuse.
